TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) form the agreement between Boxed and Boards ABN 95 186 645 057 (referred to as “Boxed and Boards”, (“we”, “us” or the “Proprietor”), creators of beautiful grazing tables, platters and grazing boxes, engaging Boxed and Boards (referred to as “Client”, “Consumer”, “Customer” or “you”), and collectively the Parties.
You have requested the services as set out in our quote (Services) for your event and/or function at a designated site (Venue), and you agree and accept that our Services are provided to you on these Terms. You accept our quote and agree to be bound by these Terms when you confirm your acceptance in writing, or by paying the deposit or booking fee set out in our quote, whichever occurs first.
PRIVACY POLICY – As part of these Website Terms of Use, We reserve the right to remove a review or comment if such review or comment contains (a) libel or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material; (b) attacks our employees or another contributor; (c) contains material that discloses your personal information; or (d) is unrelated to the post or content to which you have reviewed or commented on our Website Terms of Use.
SERVICES –
 Where you accept these Terms, you offer to purchase the Services as set out in the quote and as further detailed in any material supplied to you by us by email or otherwise. All marketing material contained on our website or otherwise is indicative only, may be out of date at the time of booking or your event and should not be relied upon without specific confirmation from Boxed and Boards in writing. Services are subject to availability of produce which is inherently seasonal in nature. Boxed and Boards may make changes to the services/packages depending on availability but will endeavour to provide an equivalent service to the maximum extent possible in the circumstances. Boxed and Boards from time to time run giveaways or promotions on this Site and/or via our social media accounts. Your participation in those giveaways or promotions is subject to these Terms and any terms and conditions that are specific to each promotion. The laws of Victoria will govern all promotions run by Boxed and Boards. will list appropriate Terms on any and all promotions via Boxed and Boards.
LEGAL CAPACITY TO TRANSACT
 – If you are under 18 years of age, you cannot place orders through this site. By using this site, you represent and warrant to the Proprietor that you are over the age of 18 years. Should the Proprietor suffer any damage or other losses as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, we reserve the right to seek compensation for such losses from his/her parents or guardians
PRICE – Prices quoted are inclusive of applicable taxes and duties and are valid for a period of 14 days from the date of the quote unless stated otherwise.
Prices quoted are subject to change without notice, based on increases in cost prices from suppliers, venues, fuel, parking, and changes to government legislation regarding taxation and charges to business etc.
Boxed and Boards reserve the right to adjust the pricing in this quote if the costing of activities, catering and venues differ by more than 5% as at the date of the original quote. Additional charges apply where staff are required to travel outside Geelong – these charges will be detailed on your quotation.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING – All quotes are subject to availability at the time of booking. Quotations are valid for a maximum 14 day period. The booking is not binding on Boxed and Boards until it has been accepted by us in writing and all conditions have been met by you such as deposits being paid. Any booking will automatically be cancelled at midnight of the quotation expiration date if a deposit, full payment, or purchase order is not received. CONFIRMATION OF DETAILS Event packages, hire items, final numbers, dietary requirements and staff for functions are to be confirmed 14 days prior to the event.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS – Boxed and Boards kitchen and equipment used within may contain traces of nuts, egg, dairy, gluten and other known allergens. Although all care is taken by Boxed and Boards to ensure these items are contained, we cannot guarantee that all dietary requirements will be met. Whilst we understand the serious implications of reactions to allergens and will endeavour not to cross contaminate your food, Boxed and Boards will not accept responsibility or liability for an adverse reaction to any of our food by any guest. Please inform any of your guests who have serious food allergies that they should supply their own allergen free food.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS – A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event date. If the booking is made with less than 14 days prior to the event, the full balance is due upfront. Any additional charges (e.g. Non return of equipment, extended staff hours, breakages, changes to delivery or travel distance etc.) will be invoiced after the event. This invoice will be charged with the credit card details provided at the time of booking. If no credit card details are provided, the invoice will be required to be paid within 7 days. A late payment fee of 10% of the value of the invoice will be payable if the invoice is up to 30 days late. After 30 days, interest will be payable on the outstanding balance at the rate of 10% per annum. You will also be liable to pay legal costs, costs of debt collectors and any other out of pocket expenses we incur if your invoice remains outstanding after 30 days
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS – Any cancellation of an event by the client must be notified in writing to Boxed and Boards as soon as possible. You may email Boxed and Boards directly our cancellation policy is as follows:
GRAZING TABLES –
12 weeks’ notice in advance of the event date – you will receive a refund of your deposit;
2-12 weeks’ notice in advance of the event date – you will forfeit your 50% deposit;
Less than 2 weeks’ notice in advance of the event date you will forfeit the full booking fee
Change of date is treated as a new booking: the above refund and cancellation policy will apply
GRAZING BOXES – Non corporate orders – minimum of 3 business days’ notice required to cancel your order or significantly decrease your order quantity otherwise full original order charge applies;
CORPORATE ORDERS – require a minimum of 7 days’ notice for cancellation or significant decrease in order quantity otherwise original order charge applies. Significant decrease means the order is reduced by 25% or greater.
FOOD HANDLING – Upon receipt of grazing boxes and platters the purchaser/recipient must immediately refrigerate or consume the product.
The following food safety protocol applies to all food delivered:
– 1-2 hours between 5-60 degrees Celsius the product can be consumed or refrigerated
– 2-4 hours between 5-60 degrees Celsius the product can be eaten
– 4+ hours between 5-60 degrees Celsius the product must be disposed of
The purchaser/recipient agree to dispose of unrefrigerated food after 4 hours.
The Proprietor will not be liable for any adverse reactions resulting from failure to follow to the above food safety protocol. Due to the perishable nature of goods to be delivered they will not be left unattended unless instructed to do so by the purchaser or recipient. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the recipient is available and authorised to receive delivery within the delivery window specified at the time of placement of order. If re-delivery is required a further delivery fee will apply. Re-delivery may not be available on the same day as the original order
OUTDOOR EVENTS & WEATHER – If your event is particularly dependent on dry weather, we recommend checking the weather forecast and confirming your decision 48hrs prior to the event. All cancellation policies apply, as aforementioned. Please note that in the case of unfavourable weather, we do not provide discounts if the event is cut short. Any events held on warm days, Boxed and Boards recommends setting up the grazing table and food in an air-conditioned room and to be fully consumed before 4 hours of initial set up. If the grazing table is moved after being set up by the client, it is done so at their own risk and is recognised that it may be a risk to human health to do so. Boxed and Boards reserves the right to pack up the grazing table earlier than the event time specified if it is deemed a health risk (ie. hot weather causing the food to spoil) the food is consumed before the end of the event time, and will be up to the client to pack up themselves.
VENUE FACILITIES & SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS –The client is responsible for providing adequate and safe parking and loading areas for catering vehicles, so all catering products can be easily transported safely.  The client will be responsible for any parking fees incurred by Boxed and Boards the client must ensure that the venue adequately meets Occupational Health & Safety requirements. Boxed and Boards takes no responsibility for any subsisting conditions at any venue as it is not the owner or occupier of the venues. The client takes responsibility for liaising with venues, obtaining permissions or permits to operate at those venues.
LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT – Equipment used in the assembly of your grazing table includes. Tables, boards, bowls, baskets, cheese knives, pate knives, tongs, Napery, assorted platters and any other props that are needed. All products will be listed on the day marked off and given to the client to ensure all equipment is checked off after the event for return. All equipment needs to be washed and dried before return. All equipment is to be returned in the same condition in which it has been supplied. If any items are lost or damaged you will be liable for the full replacement cost. Prior to your event arrangements will need to be made for returning of the goods.

Breakfast Grazes 8am-11am Monday to Saturday
Lunch Grazes 9am-2pm Monday to Saturday
Sunday – CLOSED (unless discussed prior)
We try to accommodate requests for delivery times, however due to external factors we cannot guarantee anything. Alternatively, you can email us and arrange a time to collect your graze from our space in Geelong West.

GOVERNMENT ENFORCED SHUTDOWNS (COVID 19) We have adjusted our policy accordingly.
All bookings are available to be credited to a future date if a lock down is announced in VIC. (credit can be used towards platter boxes over time if you do not intend to reschedule the booking.If a snap lockdown is announced within 48 hour time frame of your event, unfortunately there may be a small charge to cover the cost of perishables that have already been purchased for your event, but your booking can certainly be rescheduled.
